Mobile Application for Cybersecurity Education and Awareness since COVID-19 Pandemic

Many schools, businesses and even governments have shifted to digital platforms and digital solutions since the COVID-19 pandemic. However, public awareness of cybersecurity and cyberattacks remains low. As the public rapidly instals remote systems and networks to enable online learning and remote working, cybercriminals are utilising a rising number of security breaches to steal data and make profits. In this paper, an effective method is proposed to educate users in the field of cybersecurity through mobile applications for their benefits. This study will adopt the stratified sampling method, and quantitative research of questionnaire will be the data collection method. The public will be the target user, with 120 respondents involve. In conclusion, this research paper would examine how to benefits users with knowledges about cybersecurity through mobile applications. The future recommendation for this proposed system is to provide an interface for users to ask questions and discuss their troubles with cybersecurity experts.
